Johan is a 15-year-old boy who is very mature for his age. He enjoys playing soccer and Mathematics is his favorite subject at school.
Johan has experienced a great deal of trauma in his life and due to circumstances beyond his control, was placed into foster care. He has made positive progress in his foster care placement and has developed the appropriate emotional intelligence to identify when he is struggling emotionally.
Johan received therapy a few years ago and it assisted him in regulating his emotions. This had a direct impact on his positive adjustment to his foster care placement. He has recently asked his foster parents if he can receive therapy again as he feels that he is struggling emotionally. Johan has so much potential, and we would like to offer him the necessary therapy and support that he needs to develop at an optimal level.
